The Region

Tuscany is the spiritual home of the classic Italian extra virgin: bright green, grassy and peppery, with artichoke and almond. The signature blend pairs structured Frantoio with soft Leccino, often with a shot of Moraiolo for power. Hand-harvested early and milled fast, Tuscan oils (many under the Toscano IGP) set the global benchmark for what a fresh, well-made oil should taste like — and a fresh peppery 'cough' at the back of the throat is celebrated, not avoided.
